I love feeling cute when I’m at home, and I especially love feeling festive at home during the holiday season.

I have a few Christmas lingerie outfits that I reserve for the holidays, and they are always handy for our annual Christmas date night in and festive mini dates at home. (If you don’t feel awesome in lingerie, read this blog post.) It had been a while since I added to my holiday lingerie collection though, so I wanted to buy something new.

My plan was to spend no more than about $50 on items that I could wear with other lingerie or lounge pieces. And I just love what I chose!

My newest lingerie for the holidays

I bought this velvet and lace green lingerie set on Amazon, and I absolutely love it! To spruce it up a bit, I also bought a long black robe and black feather slippers. I’ve worn this outfit once so far (the night I decorated for Christmas), and let me just say I felt so fabulous. Ya know, kind of like Martha May in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. 🙂

The holiday lingerie set

This holiday lingerie set also comes in a thong I believe, but I love vintage feel of the high-waisted panty. For $15 on Amazon, I’m super impressed with the quality. It’s comfortable, and I love the velvet, lace and fringe combination – it adds that festive flair. It also comes in black and red, which would be perfect for the holiday season as well.

It fits pretty true to size, and I’m wearing a size medium.

The long black robe

I’ve been wearing this black robe non-stop! I do appreciate the sheer lace on the chest of the robe and that the satin tie is built onto the robe, so it can’t slip out. I also just love walking around in a long black robe because it makes me feel fancy.

I ordered a medium in the robe, and it is a little long. I probably would have been just fine in a small.

The black feather slippers

I wanted black “Tinkerbell” slippers, and these feather slippers were the closest I could find without spending a lot. They are comfortable and cute, though when I wear these out, I’ll search for another style. But for the purpose of feeling cute and festive during the holidays, these do the trick!

We just decorated our home for Christmas this past weekend, and I can’t wait to snuggle up in our twinkly living room all December long – in festive outfits.  Tell me, do you like dressing for the season at home??
